Update clobbered my console resolution.

Just did an update (-current) and it clobbered my console resolution.

I checked lilo.conf and it's still set to the 1024x786 resolution:

Code:
# VESA framebuffer console @ 1024x768x64k
vga = 791

But, when the machine starts, it's in a much lower resolution....

After thinking of this for a moment, it could be that the upgrade switched the default font (I had it set for 8x8)...

Does anyone have ideas as to what could be happening?

What config file sets the console font?

@arfon , /etc/rc.d/rc.font is the culprit .

I have mine set to an enormous font for my 4k monitor ...

Code:
cat /etc/rc.d/rc.font
#!/bin/bash
#
# This selects your default screen font from among the ones in
# /usr/share/kbd/consolefonts.
#
setfont -v ter-v32b

Thanks for the heads up on /etc/rc.d/rc.font

Surprisingly, it's set correctly:

Code:
#!/bin/sh
#
# This selects your default screen font from among the ones in
# /usr/share/kbd/consolefonts.
#
setfont -v Cyr_a8x8.psfu.gz
It's definitely not starting in 8x8... I'll take a picture on the next reboot.
